Daily Checklist to Ensure SPASH is Working Correctly

🎯 Objective

Ensure that the entire SPASH system is operational before the start of sessions and the arrival of players.

✅ Checks to Perform

🔌 1. Equipment Power Supply

Check that all equipment is properly powered and turned on:

• The BOX Recorder must be on with a steady white light
• The BOX Player must be powered on
• The BOX Switch (if installed) must be turned on
• The cameras must be powered

🌐 2. Network and Connection

Ensure that the network connection is working properly:

• Check that the internet cable is properly connected to the WAN port of the BOX Recorder
• Verify that the network indicator lights (LED) are active
• Check that the WiFi network SPASH_XXX is visible from a smartphone

🖥️ 3. Screen Check (BOX Player)

Check that the screens are working properly:

• The screen should turn on automatically
• The SPASH interface should appear on the screen

⚠️ Warning:
If the screen remains white, this usually indicates a network connection problem.

🎥 4. Camera Check

Ensure the cameras are working properly:

• Verify that all cameras are connected by going to the admin area and taking a snapshot. You need to go to support > material management
• Start a test session to check the quality and presence of the image
  • If you do not have a screen (Box Player): start a session longer than 10 minutes and use the buzzers. The buzzers are available directly after the session in the app and in the admin area, allowing you to check this way
  • If you have a screen (Box Player): start a session and go to the instant replay area to verify that the cameras have started correctly

▶️ 5. Session Test

Perform a full system test:

1. Start a test match longer than 10 min
2. Check that:
   • The match starts correctly
   • Replays are available and functional

🔔 6. Buzzer Check (if present)

Test the buzzers installed on the field:

• Press a buzzer during a session
• Verify that the action appears correctly on the screen
• If no screen, start a session longer than 10 minutes and press buzzers to see them in the admin area or app

At the end of these checks:

• All equipment is powered
• The network is working properly
• The screens display the SPASH interface
• The cameras capture the image
• Sessions and replays are operational
• The buzzers respond correctly
