🎯 Issue
The camera is no longer properly oriented: the pitch is poorly framed, tilted, or partially visible.
🛠️ Prerequisites
- Have two people to carry out the adjustment
- Have access to a Box Player (if installed)
⚠️ Case without Box Player
If your installation does not have a Box Player:
👉 Please contact SPASH support to be assisted with the realignment of the camera.
📍 Procedure with Box Player
1. Start a session
- Start a session from the Box Player
- Wait for the session to be active
2. Use Instant Replay
- Open the Instant Replay feature
- Use the video preview to view the framing live
3. Realign the camera
The adjustment must be done by two people:
- One person physically adjusts the orientation of the camera
- A second person guides the positioning using the video feedback displayed via Instant Replay
4. Finalise the adjustment
Once the angle is validated:
- Tighten the camera fixing screws properly
- Stop the test session
The realignment is complete.
🎯 Recommendations by sport
⚽ Football
- Ensure that both goals are clearly visible in the framing
- Make sure the entire usable pitch is visible
🎾 Tennis
Depending on the camera location:
- Camera at the back of the court: the entire court must be visible
- Camera on the side: half of the court must be correctly framed
🏓 Padel
- Position the centre line in the middle of the image
- Check that it appears as vertical as possible
👁️ Expected result
After realignment:
- The pitch is correctly centred
- The image is straight and stable
- The playing areas are fully visible
💡 Tips
- Make the adjustment during a test session to get immediate feedback
- Regularly check the framing after vibrations or bad weather
- Always tighten the fixings after adjustment to prevent further misalignment
